Sarkodie has rejected Stonebwoy’s suggestion that his social media posts were aimed at him, saying he has never made a post to shade the dancehall artiste.
The rapper said he does not pay attention when fans try to connect his posts to issues involving other artistes because the only opinion that matters to him is Stonebwoy’s own.
“First off, there’s no post I’ve made in my life trying to shade you, and I don’t respond when fans want to make connections because I only care about your opinion, not what someone else makes it seem,” Sarkodie said in a tweet.
His response comes after Stonebwoy questioned the message behind a recent video Sarkodie posted and referred to conversations the two artistes had about issues within the music industry.
Sarkodie said he does not take industry matters to heart, especially when he has real-life concerns to deal with.
“My G, let me say it again, just as I said on the phone there’s nothing in this industry I take to heart when I have real situations in real life to worry about,” he said.
Sarkodie’s response makes his position clear. He says there has been no deliberate attempt to attack Stonebwoy through his social media posts and that he is not interested in responding to interpretations created by fans.
