Born in 2007, the boys from Nima (VIP), Zeal, formerly known as Lazzy (Abdul Hamid Ibrahim), Prodigal (Joseph Nana Ofori), and Promzy (Emmanuel Promzy Ababio), took the continent by storm as Ahomka womu was generally accepted around the African continent.

Years after its release, the song remains undefeated as it still holds one of the best instrumentals, lyrics, and deliveries ever to come from Ghana.

Ghanaian media personality Rev. Erskine has referenced the song as one of the best songs ever to erupt from the coast of Ghana.

Sharing his view, Rev. Erskine took to his official X page and wrote:
