Stonebwoy has called on Sarkodie to explain what he described as mixed signals following a series of cryptic social media posts that fans linked to their relationship.
The Bhim Nation boss addressed the issue on X on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, recounting private conversations he had with Sarkodie after their recent shows in the UK.
According to Stonebwoy, he called Sarkodie to congratulate him after his Rapperholic show in the UK, and they spoke for more than 10 minutes.
He said that after his own OVO Arena Wembley concert, Sarkodie shared another cryptic video on social media, which he felt was directed at him.
Stonebwoy said he later reached out to Sarkodie again over the posts. The two eventually spoke for more than an hour about the music industry, artistes’ behaviour and their different perspectives.
Stonebwoy claimed that during the conversation, Sarkodie told him that artistes could not be forced to uphold certain principles and that musicians often make decisions based on what benefits them.
His comments followed Sarkodie’s recent posts warning artistes against encouraging fan-driven rivalries.
Sarkodie urged his fans to support his brand without attacking other artistes or brands, saying loyalty should not involve tearing others down.
The issue has since generated reactions among Ghanaian music fans, with many debating whether Sarkodie’s cryptic posts were directed at Stonebwoy and what may have caused the apparent tension between the two artistes.
