“Your Asante Agenda Won’t Work For King Paluta At The TGMAs, He Has No Branding” – Sally Mann Tells Ashantis

From 2009, when Okeame Kwame, a Kumasi-based artist, won the ultimate at the Ghana Music Awards, the artist of the year award has never been won by an artist who has emerged from the golden region of Ghana.

Hence, there has been an agenda of the Ashantis to push rapper King Paluta to win the ultimate because people think he is seriously in the race. However, media critic Sally Mann says otherwise.

According to Sally, King Paluta may have qualified because of the critical, but what she thinks might put Stonebwoy or King Promise ahead of him is branding, because she thinks King Paluta is not ready for music; he is just the rapper Ghanaians have allowed him to explore, nothing more.
