“I Flied My First Plane At Age 13” – Zanetor Rawlings

Dr. Zanetor Rawlings, the Member of Parliament for the Klottey Korle district, disclosed that she took her first solo flight as a pilot when she was just thirteen years old.

The majority of Ghanaian youngsters would always dream of flying a plane, but Zanetor was fortunate enough to have her father serving as Ghana’s president when she first learned how to fly.




Since her father, Jerry John Rawlings, a retired Air Force pilot and one of Ghana’s greatest fighter jet pilots, taught her to fly, Zanetor’s accomplishment is not shocking to most Ghanaians.


Speaking in a video that we happened to find, Dr. Zanetor Agyemang Rawlings told host Bola Ray that she was keen to learn to fly because she admired her father’s skill at flying planes.
