That is not her obituary — Family of late Akua Donkor denies funeral poster circulating online (Video)

The family of the late Ghanaian politician Akua Donkor has denied any involvement with the funeral posters appearing on social media.

During an interview with Captain Smart on Onua Maakye, the family leader, known as the Abusuapayin, clarified that they had scheduled the funeral and burial for March 27, 2025.

However, because Akua Donkor was a politician, they wanted to wait for an official date from the government, which hasn’t been provided yet.

The family leader expressed shock at the appearance of the posters online and stated they have no idea who is responsible for their creation and distribution.

He also reached out to the actual family leader to confirm if he had given permission for the posters, but it was confirmed that no such permission was granted.

Additionally, another family member on the show stated that they have not commissioned anyone to design a funeral poster.
