A young Nigerian businessman and his girlfriend have been discovered dead in their bedroom.
It has been reported that the lovers were naked when their bodies were discovered inside the man’s room.
SP William Aya, spokesperson for the Kogi State Police Command, confirmed the event on Saturday and identified the deceased as Sheriff Salifu and Blessing Adama, both from Ankpa.
Blessing was claimed to be a student at the Kogi State College of Education.
The PPRO also described the incident as sudden and unnatural and further disclosed that the command has launched an investigation to ascertain the cause of their deaths.
Meanwhile, Sheriff’s family has requested his body to be released to them so that he can be buried according to Islamic rites, while the remains of Blessing Adama is still at the morgue.
