A preacher from Ghana, Prophet Johnson Adu-Boahen, is the leader of the Christ Revival Baptist Church in Lapaz.
He has spoken out against employers who pay their workers less than Ghc 1,000 per month.
Prophet Adu-Boahen argues that employers who give such low wages and delay payments are very unfair.
He goes so far as to say they deserve to have things stolen from them.
He expressed these strong views in a sermon video that is gaining attention on social media.
In his message, he stated that bosses who pay very little are denying their workers a fair salary, which makes it hard for them to look after their families.
He suggested that if an employee steals from such a boss and the case goes to the police or court, the authorities should let the employee go free because they were oppressed by their employer.
He added that these kinds of bosses deserve to be stolen from, and people should not be punished for taking from them.
