On the 10th of May, 2025, the night, just like any other night of music awards in Ghana, the Telecel Ghana Music Awards took off, and my industry stakeholders came in, dressed in all kinds of manners, which spoke volumes.
One controversial one was rapper Tulenkey, who was dressed in a suit but had tape glued to his mouth for reasons unknown.
Even after winning the best hiplife song with his song, which features the new artist of the year, Beeztrap, Tulenkey still didn’t bother to utter a word in his acceptance speech.
Finally, the rapper has given a speech on the award he received that night through his official X page, saying:
Thank you to everyone who made this possible. Big love to @beeztrapkotm for delivering the verse of the year. Shoutout to @tukiemusik for producing the beat of the year. To my team and everyone who believed in this—thank you. We’re just getting started.
