Ghana Dj Awards: “I have no competition in this year’s awards” – Mr Shark

I have no competition in this year’s awards – these are the words of radio dj and music promoter, Mr Shark. According to the 2019 nominee, it is all clear that his output in the year under review was unprecedented and deserves to win ‘Best Afrobeats/Hiplife Dj of the year” and “Record promoter of the year”.

He told Jonilar.net in an interview that, colleagues in that category and Ghana Djs in general are doing very well for the country and Africa music at large but awards are measured based on your output and public acceptance of your industriousness

He also added the fan base has fully welcomed his nomination and has since been voting to ensure he emerges victorious.

Mr Shark (Born Benjamin Antwi) works with Accra-based radio station Pluzz 89.

9Fm as a prime time host and promoter. He is known for promoting most of the big names in Ghana’s music industry. His nomination at the 2019 Ghana Dj Awards is also a huge endorsement of massive contribution towards the growth of Ghana music over the past years.

This year’s Ghana Dj Awards is organized Mercury Republic to recognize the contribution of Ghanaian Djs towards the growth of music and entertainment in general. The main event is scheduled for 2nd November,2019 at the National Theatre in Accra,Ghana.
