There are more talents in T'di than Accra – Kofi Kinaata
Hiplife artiste Kofi Kinaata, real name, Martin King Arthur, has asserted that the Western Regional capital of Takoradi boasts of a large number of talented rappers than Accra.
According to him, several rappers in Accra lack the basic flair in music but are fortunate to get the needed support to enable them sail through in their career.
He also pointed to the fact that if at least twenty (20) rappers from Takoradi are given the necessary push, it would to a large extent impact positively on the development of music in Ghana.
The Fante god rapper told Kwame B on Music Lane on Kasapa 102.
3FM Thursday, that those who are creative in the industry but lack resources should be supported, and not those with opportunities but are sub-standard.
“Takoradi has got much-talented rappers than Accra, but lacks the resources to push their music works. If twenty (20) rappers should have same opportunities as some in Accra do, then Ghana music will see great transformation. I have nurtured about 15 rappers based in Takoradi who are absolutely amazing.
”
The Takoradi born music act has said his new hit single will be out soon.
