You locked me up and took my phones – Regina Daniels accuses Ned Nwoko

Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has accused her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, of manipulation and emotional abuse, claiming he falsely labeled her a drug addict to conceal his own actions.

In a detailed post shared on social media, Regina alleged that Nwoko deliberately spread misinformation about her to divert public scrutiny from what she described as his controlling behavior. She said the senator’s accusations were meant to damage her reputation and silence her side of the story.

Regina stated that she had endured emotional distress during their relationship and could no longer tolerate being misrepresented in public. She emphasized that the narrative of drug addiction was a fabrication designed to protect Nwoko’s image while discrediting her as a wife and mother.

The actress also expressed her resolve to focus on healing and rebuilding her life, calling on the public to stop spreading unverified claims. She urged respect for her privacy as she works to recover from what she described as a difficult and manipulative marriage.

“You want to find a reason to arrest everyone around me so that I will have no one left beside me,” she wrote. “Then, when I’m completely isolated and broken, I will be forced to come back to you because I will have nowhere else to go.”

She further accused him of hypocrisy, alleging that he once encouraged her to take drugs because he thought she was “sexier” and “wilder” when high.

Regina also made disturbing claims about being locked up, denied access to her phones, and forced to take medication meant for people with bipolar disorder.

“You lock me up and tell doctors to inject me with drugs,” she wrote. “You seize my phones for weeks just because you hate that I talk to my family a lot.”

The actress said Nwoko’s tactics were aimed at breaking her down emotionally so she would depend solely on him.

“That has always been your strategy, break people down, make them weak and powerless, and then have your way with them,” she stated.

She ended her post with a defiant message; “It’s not going to work this time. Not anymore.”
