Joyce Dzidzor Mensah, a former HIV/AIDS Ambassador, has revealed her current health status on Facebook, frightening her fans and loved ones.
Joyce Dzidzor Mensah recently tested positive for HIV on live television. This comes after many Ghanaians questioned if Joyce Dzidzor was a virus victim. After her journey to Germany, she returned to Ghana and tested her HIV/AIDS status on live television.
Joyce posted on her Facebook page that she is growing weaker by the day and is pleading with Ghanaians to be kind to her children when she is no longer alive. She revealed that she was diagnosed with HIV in 2007 while recounting the agony of dealing with the disease.
She recalled how, after being diagnosed with HV, she would slip away to cry once everyone was asleep. Despite the fact that she was educating people about HIV when she was chosen Ambassador, she walked inside after her session, according to her.
“…..And when I first started educating people about HIV, I usually encouraged others while crying silently after my lecture…. I kept a cheerful expression on my face so that most HIV-positive patients might draw courage from me. On four times, I was admitted to a mental institution in Hamburg. In a psychiatric institution for severe depression in 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2019.
My son Prince was taken away from me because of my continuous admittance. But now I’m frail… When I’m no longer here, please be kind to my children. Do not punish them for my blunders. She wrote, “God bless you all.”
