Amanda Acquah wife of Black Stars player Afriyie Acquah has revealed her husband was not matured enough for marriage.
Speaking GHOne Saturday the embattled Amanda said even though they are separated, the two are still legally married.
According to her, the separation became important because she felt Afriyie needed some time to grow up and learn some more about relationship and marriage.
“… You know we are both young, we got married very early. We got married when I was 24 and he was 22.
I think we need more time. The separation is what we needed. We need more time to grow, get more matured and understand each other.
When we got married, we didn’t really understand the meaning of marriage, especially for him,” she said on GHOne’s Cheers show.
She, however, reiterated her love for Afriyie Acquah, warning other ladies to stay off her man.
“”We are still married. Scandal didn’t separate us. The love we had was way above scandal.”
The marriage of Black Stars player, Afriyie Acquah came to the media after a leaked audio revealed that the wife of the footballer was sleeping around with other men.
The scandal caused a lot of bad press for the couple leading to their separation.
