Ashanti Regional Minister Promises To Make Entertainments In SHS More Entertaining

Dr. Frank Amoakohene, the Ashanti Regional Minister, has unveiled a new project that would incorporate Kumawood performers into senior high school entertainment programs around the area.
He clarified that the action is a component of a larger plan to influence children via culture and indigenous talent by integrating aspects of fashion, health, and the creative arts into school activities.
Dr. Amoakohene emphasized that bringing Kumawood stars to school functions will expose students to the depth of Ghanaian arts and culture while also increasing student involvement.
“There are plans underway to bring on board Kumawood stars and singers from the region to your schools during entertainment on Saturdays on your respective campuses,” he said.
“So those of you who want to see McBrown, Kwaku Manu, Lil Win, and others will get the opportunity to interact with them right on your school grounds.”
“Our goal is to instill a sense of pride in our heritage,” he said.
