“If I Could Play One More Game, It Would Be Against Uruguay” – Asamoah Gyan

Legendary Asamoah Gyan was a household name in the Ghanaian football community but became more popular when he missed the penalty that could have seen the Black Stars make history in the history of World Cups.
In the last minutes of the 90 minutes, the Black Stars won a penalty courtesy of Dominic Adiyah, whose header was pointed out by outfield player Luis Suarez. Gyan proposed to kick the penalty but missed, which eventually led the quarterfinal game into extra time, and Ghana was eliminated eventually through a penalty kick after 120 minutes.
This has been one of Asamoah Gyan’s traumas haunting him for years, because 2010, which was the best year in his career, turned out to be worse with just one mistake.
Speaking on TV3, Asamah has made it known that if he has the chance to play with a team again, even in his retirement, it will be with Uruguay, and we all know what that means and what he wants.
