“Black Sherif And Stonebwoy Are O2-Ready Artists” – CookieTee

There has been an argument on the internet on which artist or group of artists can sell out the O2 arena in London, which has been the playground for most musicians from Nigeria.
The argument on the internet made Ghanaian media house, the Kwadwo Sheldon Studio (KSS), list some groups of musicians that fans are to select if they think they could represent Ghana at the O2 Arena.
The first group is made up of Sarkodie, Medikal, Efya, and Kuami Eugene. Stonebwoy, Gyakie, Kidi, and Black Sherif made up the second group, with Shatta Wale, King Promise, Kwesi Arthur, and Amarae making it to the third group.
Most fans selected the second group, while others feel the first group didn’t have fair musicians to make it to one of the biggest stages in the world right now.
Sharing an opinion on the post, Ghanaian media personality CookieTee chose the second group too, stating her reading as Stonebwoy’s international fanbase in Reggae/Dancehall and Afobeats. Black Sherif’s growing global influence, especially in the UK and diaspora; KiDi’s commercial appeal, with danceable tunes and a strong fanbase; and Gyakie’s crossover appeal are especially apparent among Afrobeats and R&B lovers and will make it easier for them to sell the arena.
She also revealed that Black Sherif and Stonebwoy are O2-ready artists based on their streaming numbers and international tours. KiDi and Gyakie bring Afro-pop & R&B energy, appealing to both African and Western audiences.
