Camidoh a front liner for Grind Don’t Stop(GDS) has announced through his management GB Recs that he will be staging a Concert which has the motive of gathering funds and creating awareness to support women who can’t foot their delivery bills at hospital after delivery.
The event will be happening on 29th of February 2020 at the MOKA RESTO CAFE along the Labone Accra road, the concert is dubbed “SAVE THE KIDS WITH CAMIDO”
During the event, CAMIDOH and his management will raise funds for mothers who have been detained at the hospital for days, weeks or months due to the fact that they can’t pay their delivery bills. This will take place at some selected general hospitals such as the Korle-bu teaching hospital and 37 Military hospital, after paying for the bills, CAMIDOH has promised to soften the mothers with a little token that will aid them to take care of their babies after they’ve gone home.
In a general sense, the detention of mothers and their infants after delivery is a complete abuse of right and also a failure to execute the access to the health care agenda. The Concert will officially be launched on 10th February 2020 at the Moka Resto Cafe with performances from great artists like kelvyn bowy, Kojo Dain and a final performance from the man himself CAMIDOH who will be giving us sensational songs from his cart.
