Wendy Asiamah Addo, known by the stage name Wendy Shay claims that online abuse has caused her more harm than Ghana’s “dumsor” (intermittent power supply).
Her comment is in several ways a response to the current #FixTheCountry movement.
Ghanaians have been discussing the list of problems afflicting the country online for the past week, with the aim of resolving them.
Shay claimed that “personally, cyberbullying has done me more harm than dumsor,” adding that “there are a lot of problems that need to be addressed and corrected in Ghana.”
