Davido Emotional as Mayorkun nominated for Artist Of the Year alongside himself.

Davido shows his excitement after Mayorkun, whom he signed into his Record label grabs nomination for Artist of the year at Headies awards.

The Headies awards is one of the biggest award schemes used to recognized and appreciate hardworking musicians in Nigeria annually.

With the 14th Edition coming up, the award brand released nominations for the potential award winners between the space of July 2019 and September 2020. Mayorkun was nominated for artist of the year alongside Davido, Burna Boy, Wizkid and Tiwa Savage.

Reacting to the nomination, Davido feels happy for his Signee as he revealed he got emotional after seeing him alongside himself for the top award. “Lil bro leveled up!!! I’m emotional” Davido wrote and tagged Mayorkun.
