Did You Know Shatta Wale Once Wanted To Sign king Paluta?

Long before King Paluta became well-known, multiple award-winning dancehall musician Shatta Wale reportedly showed a great interest in signing the rapper to his label, according to veteran broadcaster and entertainment figure Andy Dosty.

Andy Dosty recalled that Shatta wanted to sign King Paluta when he included King Paluta and other artists on the 2020 smash track “Ahodwo Las Vegas” in an interview with Akoto Mansa’s Asetena Pa Podcast on YouTube.

“Shatta Wale was the one who sought to sign Paluta.

He was determined to sign him. Paluta was not a well-known artist at the time; therefore, nobody knew him,”
he remarked.

Andy Dosty said how he spoke with Shatta Wale on a regular basis about how to build the rapper’s brand in Kumasi and how much money King Paluta would require.

“I recall that we would discuss Paluta for an hour when they first published ‘Ahodwo Las Vegas.” How can his career be affected?” Andy Dosty continued.

Andy Dosty said that at the time, King Paluta was unaware that such talks were taking on regarding his future.

“Paluta didn’t even know.” We needed to make some calls and conduct some research. On more than one occasion, we engaged in a lengthy discussion on Paluta. It never changed,” he said.
