Dr(Pharm) Chief Adu Frempong Wins Overall Best MCA Lecturer of the Year at 2026 Valuvite MCA Awards
Dr(Pharm) Chief Adu Frempong of Pharmatrust Professional College has been crowned Overall Best MCA Lecturer of the Year at the 2026 Valuvite Medicine Counter Assistants Awards held at GNAT Hall in Accra on 9th May 2026.
The award recognizes his contribution to Medicine Counter Assistant education and his impact on practical pharmacy training in Ghana. His selection followed his strong performance in academic delivery, student mentorship, and professional development within the pharmaceutical training sector.
Dr(Pharm) Chief Adu Frempong is widely known within Pharmatrust Professional College for his practical teaching style and strong focus on discipline, ethics, and industry based pharmacy education.
His approach has helped many students develop confidence in dispensing, prescription handling, stock management, and patient care.
Under his guidance, students of Pharmatrust Professional College have consistently performed well both academically and during internship placements. His contribution has also supported the institution’s growing reputation as one of Ghana’s leading centres for MCA training.
The 2026 Valuvite MCA Awards also saw Pharmatrust Professional College emerge as one of the biggest winners on the night. The institution won MCA Institution of the Year, while Pharmatrust Pharmacy Retail received Best Internship Facility of the Year.
Other lecturers from the institution also earned recognition in the lecturer category. Dr(Pharm) Sarfo Samuel Addo placed 2nd, Mr Rhomeo Gamed placed 3rd, and Pharm Kafui placed 5th, reflecting the depth of academic quality within the college.
