Popular comedian, Clemento Suarez, has been facing some spiritual challenges in his career, with certain people causing him trouble.
During an interview on the Jenny Lifestyle Lounge, covered by MyNewsGh, he explained that these problems have been ongoing since late last year.
“From the end of last year to the beginning of this year, some particular group of people have decided to torment my life. But, inshallah, God be my help, they are going to be scattered in Jesus’ name,” he said, albeit in jest.
Despite these difficulties, Clemento remains strong in his faith and continues to pursue his career in entertainment.
He is not only a comedian but also an actor who takes part in rap and stage performances.
Clemento also talked about the hurdles new comedians face, pointing out that while established comedians earn well, it’s much harder for newcomers.
“For comedy, people have to appreciate you, they have to love you before they respond to your jokes. Unless you are super excellent, it’s not easy,” he explained.
Despite the challenges, he acknowledged the importance of lifting others in the industry. “We are a young industry, and if we don’t help others to come up, it’s going to be difficult,” he said.
While he keeps his personal life private, Clemento added that he does not let fame define him. “I don’t really dwell on fame. I’m not a fan of stardom, so my family is also okay with it.
