Great News As Arsenal Striker, Eddie Nketiah Decides To Play For The Black Stars

Per a rumor on Twitter, Arsenal forward Eddie Nketiah has switched national allegiance to Ghana after the Black Stars qualified for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The Ghana Football Association made contact with the Arsenal forward’s family to discuss the possibility of the 22-year-old switching his international allegiance a few months ago.
Nketiah, who was born in the United Kingdom to Ghanaian parents, has represented his nation at the youth level.
However, with his prospects of playing for the Three Lions of England dwindling, Nketiah’s chances of participating in the World Cup with Ghana look to be stronger.
Ghana is optimistic about persuading the teenager to join the Black Stars after the West African powerhouse clinched their fourth berth at the FIFA World Cup.
The young footballer was born in the United Kingdom.
Eddie Nketiah’s parents, on the other hand, are not English.
They’re from Ghana. Eddie Nketiah’s ancestors are from Ghana, hence he is of Ghanaian descent.
The 22-year-old has scored 16 goals in 17 appearances for England U21.
Nketiah has also represented England at the under-18, under-19, and under-20 levels.
