Assin Central MP Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, a Member of Parliament from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for Assin Central, has lobbied for former Black Stars striker Asamoah Gyan to be included in the 2022 World Cup roster.
Despite the striker’s lack of sharpness, he believes his involvement in the team will help the Black Stars go farther in the World Cup.
In an interview on Accra’s Happy FM, the outspoken politician stated Ghana will need Gyan’s expertise in the Mundial.

After a one-all draw in Abuja, the Black Stars upset Nigeria over two legs late last month to qualify for the World Cup ahead of the Super Eagles.
They have been drawn in Group H of the World Cup in Qatar, where they will face Portugal, Uruguay, and South Korea.
