Ghanaian comedian, Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng, popularly known as Funny Face, says that his name is bigger than that of hip-hop artist Medikal.
Funny Face claims that his brand has been around for two decades and hasn’t lost its luster, and that it can’t be compared to Medikal, who entered the market “recently.

On Abeiku Santana’s “Ekwanso Dwoodwoo” show on Okay FM last Friday, he made this assertion in response to questions about his absence at a certain event last week.
Funny Face, who just checked into the Accra Psychiatric Hospital for mental health problems and baby mama drama, believes he is one step ahead of the recipient of the 2019 VGMA “Rapper of the Year” award.
“Medikal’s brand isn’t the same as Funny Face’s.
He declared, “My Brand is Bigger Than Medikal.”
“What are you saying?” he continued. For the past 20 years, I’ve worked in the field.
Medikal had just arrived.”
He asked Abeiku Santana to end the discussion when he tried to persuade him to expand on his point.
