Award winning Ghanaian singer, Eugene Kwame Marfo, who goes by the stage name Kuami Eugene, claims that 80 percent of Ghanaians, especially the youth, do not make good use of their time.
In a one-on-one interview with Angel FM’s Ohemaa Woyeje, which was taped by this writer, the Rockstar said that 80 percent of young people enjoy bullying others on social media, which is thwarting the country’s growth.
He claims that the usefulness of the young generation is what makes every nation powerful.
He clarified that it is a waste of time if 80 percent of our generation, who have smart phones and can produce something profitable to better their lives and the country as a whole, are online attacking celebrities and people with whom they oppose.
As a young musician, Kuami Eugene confirmed that he is doing his part for mother Ghana.
“As an artist, I’m doing my bit, and others can care of what they can do instead of only buying data and offending people,” he said.
He boasted that he releases at least five hit songs a year to entertain the people while still making a profit, and he advised the youth to seek out opportunities to make an impression.
