Netflix Deletes “Slay” Movie After Wendy Shay Threatened To Sue The Producers

Wendy Shay, a Ghanaian recording artist, has finally gotten her wish after Netflix pulled the South African film ‘Slay,’ which featured her music.

A few days ago, Wendy Shay threatened to sue a movie producer who used one of her songs in their film without her or her management team’s permission, according to a recent article.


Following this, the signee of Rufftown Records threatened to sue the movie maker if he did not comply.

Netflix, the international movie channel that featured the film, has taken it down a few days after she made her threat.
