Owusu Bempah's old prophecy on Afua Asantewaa's marriage resurfaces, video trends

An old prophecy by Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah about Afua Asantewaa and her husband has resurfaced amid their marital turmoil.

Popular media personality and former Guinness World Record singathon participant, Afua Asantwaa, sparked divorce rumours after relocating from Ghana to North America.

She shared videos discussing her inability to engage in long-distance relationships and described her ideal man as someone with characteristics her husband did not possess.

Her actions fuelled the rumours, but she finally put everything to rest when she confirmed her separation from Kofi Owusu Aduonum on Tuesday, March 31, 2026.

In a TikTok Live video, Afua Asantewaa said they had separated but had not yet formalised their divorce.

“I am not divorced. We are separated for a good cause, and I am gradually healing. It is not any big deal,” she said.

“When I visited the singathon premises, I saw Afua Asantewaa’s husband and he was very humble. Afua also carries a very good spirit.

God would lift her, her husband and her family even higher than they currently are. “Whenever someone achieves such success, evil begins to work against them. None of those spirits shall affect her. All attacks against her and her husband would fail. I place God’s protection upon them,” he prophesie
