In a recent interview with Accra FM, Fameye, the Ghanaian songwriter also known as Peter Famiyeh Bozah, spoke out about his experiences with criticism and rumors in the music business.
The “Questions” singer said that he had been the object of “hot water pouring,” a word used to characterize the unrelenting criticism and hostility hurled at him.
“Fameye is calm, and Peter is quiet, but I’ve understood that people want to scald me with hot water. It’s been like this ever since I was a kid,” he remarked.
Fameye also mentioned how he frequently feels unfairly singled out, with people accusing him of misconduct for things that other people get away with.
He underlined that he is not requesting that people remain silent; rather, he is asking that they give him a fair shot.
“When I do it, it’s a different tale than what other people do that no one talks about.” “I’m not suggesting that people should remain silent, but it always happens to me,” he said.
The honoree continued by expressing his confidence in God and his faith, saying that he has begged for God to pass judgment on any allegations that have ever been leveled against him.
“I have pleaded with God that if whatever somebody says about me is accurate, he should punish me, and if something is intended to go well for me due to what I have done wrong, God shouldn’t permit me to advance.” God is in control of all I have, he declared.
