Shatta Wale Claims He is the Savior of Ghana Music Industry
African Dancehall King, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr, known professionally as Shatta Wale has put out a braggadocious statement in his quest to spark another controversy.
According 1Don, as he is affectionately called, he was the one who liberated the music industry here in Ghana.
In a post sighted by Dklassgh.com, Shatta Wale claimed his colleagues are so much aware of the fact that he saved the industry from a lot of mess.
Some of the things he campaigned for in time past is that musicians must be paid better for their performances at concerts. Shatta was of the view that when foreign musicians perform in the country, they get paid more than local artistes and this must not be so.
“I liberated this music industry. This they must know!!!!” – Shatta wrote on SnapChat.
As to how and the sector he liberated, the ‘Ayoo’ hitmaker is yet to disclose.
