We won’t back down for Stonebwoy to organise his concert – DJ Mensah declares
DJ Mensah from the Akwaaba UK group announced they won’t change their plans for the UK tour set by dancehall artist Stonebwoy on March 8th.
During a February 20, 2025, interview on Hitz FM, DJ Mensah made it clear that Akwaaba doesn’t aim to disrupt Stonebwoy’s concert.
They are firm about not moving their event date.
He pointed out that Akwaaba UK has hosted a concert every Independence Day for years and won’t shift their schedule.
“I am speaking for Akwaaba, and even as DJ Mensah, who works with Akwaaba, I just want to make things clear that we are not here to sabotage anybody. The event is going to happen, and we are not stepping down for anybody,” he said.
Additionally, he mentioned they are willing to work with Stonebwoy on future events.
His statements came after Stonebwoy’s manager, Chief Stylz, accused Akwaaba UK and Alordia of trying to “sabotage” Stonebwoy’s UK album tour.
