“Stop Begging Celebrities For Money And Work Hard” – Medikal To The Youth
Award-winning rapper Samuel Adu Frimpong, well known as AMG Medikal, has explained why he refuses to give money to fans who approach him on the street.
Some of his detractors attacked the rapper after he spurned a fan who approached him and begged for money.
The fan was admonished by Medikal not to approach him and seek for such favors.
Medikal also encouraged the young man to stop begging celebrities for favors and instead start working hard for his own money.
Medikal indicated on Hitz FM in an interview with Andy Dosty on the Daybreak Hitz show that he wants to influence the industrious mentality of the youth, particularly those who are fond of asking celebrities for favors.
He stated that it is past time for fans to start working hard for their own money because if he continues to give money to fans without telling them the hard truth about hard work, he will be a bad influence on them because he did not encourage them to work on their own but instead spoon-fed them with gifts.
As a reminder, Medikal is one of the few Ghanaian celebrities who has exhibited and shown that hard effort pays off.
Medikal worked hard to lift his family out of poverty from grass to grace, so it’s no surprise that he wants to inculcate the same mindset and positivism in the youth.
