Your name will fill pages in my book – John Dumelo mourns Beverly Afaglo

Ghanaian actor and politician John Dumelo has paid an emotional tribute to the late actress Beverly Afaglo after news of her death was confirmed by her husband, Choirmaster.
In a heartfelt message, John Dumelo reflected on how they first met nearly two decades ago while filming the popular TV series About to Wed in Dzorwulu.
According to him, that meeting marked the beginning of a strong friendship and professional relationship that later played a major role in shaping his acting career.
“That’s when I met Beverly Afaglo, Prince David Osei and Yvonne Okyere. We starred in one of the best TV series and Bev brought out the best in me,” he wrote.
John also revealed that Beverly later connected him to a movie role that changed the course of his career in the film industry.
According to him, Beverly once contacted him about a producer searching for someone to play the role of a king in a movie.
“That’s how I got to star in ‘King is Mine’ and the rest they say is history,” he shared.
The actor expressed gratitude to Beverly Afaglo for the support, kindness, and opportunities she gave him throughout his journey, adding that he would never forget the impact she had on his life and career.“Thanks so much Bev for playing a significant role in my acting career,” he added.
Ending his tribute with emotion, John Dumelo said Beverly’s memory would always stay with him.
“I am glad you are resting peacefully now. One day when I decide to write a book, your name will fill pages,” he wrote.
