“I Will Carry Mahama At My Back If The Cedi Hits 8 To A Dollar” – Dormaahene

Openly praising President John Dramani Mahama’s leadership, Dr. Nana Agyemang Badu II, Dormaahene Osagyefo Oseadeeyo, has voiced hope about the nation’s economic future under his direction.
The respected traditional elder commended President John Mahama’s leadership during his “Thank You Tour” in the Bono Region and highlighted the recent strengthening of the Ghanaian cedi against the US dollar.
“This improvement is a sign of increasing investor confidence and may be the start of better economic times for Ghana,” he said.
Dormaahene jokingly promised his steadfast support for the president in a casual yet enthusiastic endorsement.
In a symbolic act that demonstrated his belief in John Mahama’s ability to turn the economy around, he even went so far as to promise to carry Mahama on his back for a whole kilometer if the cedi hits GH₵8 to the dollar.
