You talk about cutting waste, but where is the proof? – Sammi Awuku tackles Mahama

Sammi Awuku has raised concerns about the government’s promise to cut down on waste, suggesting their recent actions don’t align with this promise.
During his State of the Nation Address, President John Dramani Mahama shared his vision for economic recovery, job creation, and infrastructure development.
He promised to stabilize the economy and lower the cost of living for Ghanaians
Sammi Awuku, who worked with the National Lottery Authority under the Ministry of Finance, noted inconsistencies in the government’s claims about improving efficiency.
Sammi Awuku believes that if the government is truly committed to efficiency, they should first fix their internal problems before using reforms as a reason to let people go.
“They talk about reducing wastage, but we are yet to see real action.
“The list of presidential staff will be submitted to the Council of State and eventually Parliament, and guess what?
“Regional executives of the ruling party are being given presidential staffer status,” he revealed.
