My Engagement Wasn’t Huge Because of Cost – Jay Foley.
Two years ago, entrepreneur and broadcaster, Jay Foley, got married to his long time girlfriend, Jossie, and now he has told us why it was not a huge event.
He was in the studios of Radio GIJ with NIi Boye on The Weekend Train when he made this revelation.
The Live FM Business Manager had an engagement and a traditional wedding in December 2014.
He says he only invited family and close friends because of the cost of engagements.
He maintains that it wasn’t a private affair as people made it seem and that he even announced it the day before. Jay Foley says the purpose of an engagement is for the two families to meet than people coming in just to help make the news.
Jay Foley revealed he kept the engagement on the low because of cost issues and that he didn’t put security men anywhere to prevent people trying to witness the event.
Anyone could have been there, according to the highly successful founder of Group 2131.
He and his wife, Jossie, have a baby girl who turned 1 this year.
His wife and daughter live abroad. He describes his wife as an amazing woman.
