The past few weeks has witnessed a serious claim for the title of ‘The Best Rapper Rapper’ by rap acts in Ghana.
The lyrical war between Sarkodie and M.anifest particularly has led to a divided opinion on who or what makes a rapper the best – wit, wordplay or composition?
Rapper Tinny, who is a legend in his own right has shared his thoughts about the argument through a new song he calls ‘Who’s The Best Rapper’.
He believes Sarkodie, M.anifest, E.L, Yaa Pono, Edem and Cabum belong in the category who can say they are the best rapper.
“…if you no hear your name, make you never vex. Double up punchlines, do your homeworks, murder the beat, and make sense, and get a style.” raps Aletse over a solid instrumental.
The video, directed by Snares Films sees two people engaged in battle, reminiscent of the Mortal Kombat game, to decide who is the best.
