No matter how talented you are, money does the trick – Raingad Reveals
Afrobeat and Reggae-Dancehall artiste, RainGad, has asserted that no matter how talented a person is, he or she will need money to be recognized in their field.
Talking about the problem that most underground artistes face, he confessed that there are a lot of problems that come with doing music but the biggest problem is lack of funds.
“I don’t have money for the mainstream but we’re getting there. The problem is largely money because no matter how good you are, you’ll still need funds”, he said in an interview on the Late Nite Celebrity Show, which airs on eTV Ghana with host, Foster Romanus.

RainGad opined that it is only right that when artistes go-to media houses for interviews and promos, they pay something because most of the people who work there also have families to take care of among other responsibilities.
However, he wished that sometimes, the media would understand and consider that most of these underground boys venturing into music, do not have the needed funds.
Sharing a little advice for his fellow upcoming artistes, the musician said, “in anything you do, make sure you do it well. Even if people don’t recognize you, make sure you do it well and stay humble”.
