Rap legend Nasty C, from South Africa, has boldly declared that he is the best rapper in Africa, elevating himself above the rest.
Though the multiple award-winning rapper acknowledges that he is not Africa's biggest rapper, he still believes that he is the best, ranking higher than artists like Sarkodie, M.anifest, MI, and Caspper.
The rapper and songwriter stated as much in an interview with Glitch Africa. He said,
”I am not the biggest rapper in Africa. Am I the best rapper in Africa? I think so.”
This claim has sparked conflict in the rap community since some fans do not support Nasty C because there are pioneers in the genre who paved the way for his like.
