Ghanaian musician Kofi Kinaata, born Martin King Arthur has added his voice to the recent comments of Bishop Dag Heward Mills that youth should desist from spots betting.
The popular clergyman stated that if you’re are young and want to be prosperous in the future you’ll have to stop indulging in sports betting which has become very popular in the country.
The singer who doubles as an ambassador for one of the sporting company responded to the claims of the man of God in an interview on Cape Coast-based Kastle FM.
Speaking about the issues he first noted that he might get a problem after the interview but noted that the elderly see while sitting but the young cannot see even if he’s standing.
According to Kinaata the man of God is saying people should desist from betting because of what he has seen because he’s been in the world for long but they’re two sides when it comes to sports betting.
Kofi Kinaata emphasized that some people have been in poverty for a very long time but betting has made them become billionaires so it doesn’t mean their riches from betting are misfortune.
He added that the same betting Haward Mills says it can make people poor can also make people rich because people also get their daily food from the betting they stake
