Obinim Have Been Paying My Rent For The Past Two Years – Veteran Actor Reveals

George Appiah Kubi, popular veteran Ghanaian actor, has expressed gratitude to Bishop Daniel Obinim, the founder and leader of International God’s Way Church, for his kindness.

Paa George, as he is affectionately known, revealed on Oman Channel’s Time with the Living Legends that Bishop Obinim, who gifted him a car and a sum of GHC10,000 two years ago, has since been paying his rent.

He expressed hope, however, that Bishop Obinim will keep his promise to gift him a house, which he made two years ago.

“He (Bishop Obinim) did indeed give me a car and money, as well as a promise to build a house for me. The house is not yet out. However, you cannot put pressure on someone who has agreed to do something; it must be done at their own pace and will. He sees me every time I go to church.

I don’t think the time has come yet because he still gives me money for my rent at the end of the year. He pays my rent, and I couldn’t be more grateful for such a person,” he said.

Paa George benefited from Obinim’s generosity two years ago after moaning bitterly about his condition.

According to the seasoned star, he has not been able to create a home with the money he has earned from his work over the years.

He shared the expectation that the house promised to him by Bishop Obinim would one day be passed on to his four children.
