Basketmouth Breaks Up With Wife After 12 Years Of Marriage

A divorce from his wife, Elsie Okpocha, was announced on Thursday, December 22, 2022, by veteran Nigerian comedian Basketmouth, also known by his stage name Basketmouth and born Bright Okpocha.

Although Basketmouth failed to recognize their annual wedding anniversary, which usually falls in November, they did celebrate Elsie’s 44th birthday anniversary around that time.

Their shocking divorce was announced by Basketmouth on his verified Instagram page.

“As much as it pains me to bring my personal life to the public space, this is an unavoidable situation.

“After much deliberations, my wife and I have made the difficult decision to end our marriage.

“As we move forward separately, we will continue to work together to give our beautiful children all the care, love, guidance and support they need.
