I’m Not Guilty – Man Who Stole Meek Mill’s Phone Tells Court
On January 4, 2022, Nuhu Sule, a 33-year-old scrap merchant, appeared in court for the first time and was accused of stealing. On December 30, Nuhu was detained for stealing the iPhone 14 Pro Max belonging to American rapper Meek Mill.
This occurred after the American rapper posted on social media that he had lost his phone when he was navigating the crowd to perform at Afronation.
Fortunately, the phone was eventually discovered by the Ghana Police after they opened a case inquiry.
The court has been informed by Nuhu that he is “not guilty” of taking the phone. His hearing has been postponed until January 17, 2023, and he has been remanded in custody.
On December 31, the rapper changed his story about the phone being stolen. He said that it may have fallen and been taken; therefore, he doesn't want someone put in jail because of his phone.
