I couldn’t give Ghanaians my best because I performed too early – Chief One on VGMA Xperience Concert in Ho
Michael Ivan Nyagamagu, commonly known as Chief One in the entertainment industry, has expressed regret over his performance at the recent VGMA Xperience event in the capital of the Volta Region, HO.
The Ghanaian Hiphop/Hiplife artist said he was not quite satisfied with the timing of the performance and the number of spectators during “The Road to VGMA Show,” a portion of TV3 New Day.
He said, “I normally go on stage at 2 or 3 and sometimes perform until 6'oclock, so a lot of people missed my performance because I only went on stage at 9:30.”
Despite his electrifying performance, Chief One, who has been nominated for the Best New Artiste Category at the forthcoming VGMA, feels he could have given his audience more.
“What I wanted to show Ghana I couldn't show because I know what I can do and my people love me,” he lamented
Songs by Chief One While WOTELEWOEA and Toyota are now receiving a ton of broadcast and streams, he is refusing to let this influence his aspirations to soon release his music on a global scale.
