I Have Reconciled With My Father Even Though He Wasn’t There when I Was Growing – Nana Ama McBrown
In a recent interview, Ghanaian actress and television personality Nana Ama McBrown talked about her modest upbringing and her connection with her father.
McBrown, who is renowned for her mesmerizing on-screen performances, disclosed that she first lived with her mother before moving in with her aunt and grandmother. She also mentioned that it took her until she was older to meet her father.
She admitted, “To be honest, I came from nothing; I came from grass to grace.” My dad is there, but I didn’t have him until I was an adult. That issue has been resolved and reconciled. I want to avoid hurting him.
The multiple award-winning personalities claims that she makes time to see him every two months to talk to and communicate with her father.
She revealed to Berla Mundi and the audience of the Day Show, “I visit him every two months and chat with him.”
McBrown has achieved fame as one of Ghana’s top actresses despite having a difficult background. While being a nurse is alright, I’m sure most nurses would prefer to be in my position or work in my hometown of Asuom, she said as she expressed her gratitude for the opportunities that have come her way. I won’t alter who I am because of anything because I’ll be paid for it.
