I am protecting my wife- Husband of Afua Asantewaa reveals why he is always following her

Afua Asantewaa's husband, Mr. Kofi Aduonum, has finally disclosed why he constantly follows his wife in their bid to set a new record for singing a thon.

For Mr. Aduonum to follow his wife everywhere she goes is viewed by many as an act of foolishness.

Some others have stated that Mr. Aduonum was doing these actions because of the wife's increased notoriety after her effort at a sing-a-thon.

In an interview with Emelia Brobbey, an actress and talk show host, Mr. Aduonum stated that the misconception that many Ghanaians hold to be true has not the slightest degree of truth.

According to the spouse, things are not at all what Ghanaians believe because they have been married for eight years, have known each other for ten, and have three children.

According to him, even before his wife's sing-a-thon attempt, he used to follow her wherever she went, saying that he sees that as a way of protecting what is legally his.

“We have been married for 8 years but have known each other 10 years with 3 children. People think I follow her around because of the Singathon but it has always been like that, we are great friends. Those who know us way before know this is how we roll. I think it is good to support your wife. I am always behind her because we(men)have to protect our wives,” he said
