Prior to the election of the National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Wontumi, has received a prophecy from Prophet Nigel Gaisie, the founder and leader of Prophetic Hill Church.
Wontumi announced his plan to run for National Chairman in the party’s next national executive elections in a statement issued on Wednesday, February 4, 2026.
The CEO of Wontumi Radio/TV revealed his preparedness, stating that the choice was made after seeking guidance from party elders and talking with God.
He characterized himself as a legitimate grassroots leader whose goals are to rebuild trust, empower party members, and put the NPP in a position to unseat the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) in 2028.
In a video that has since gone viral, Prophet Nigel Gaisie told reporters about a vision he had regarding Wontumi, who is presently facing legal challenges.
According to what I’ve seen as of yesterday, Wontumi will be the next National Chairman of the NPP. He should and will be their next national chairman if God grants him a long life, he said.
He went on to say that God has revealed to him in a vision who will lead Ghana as president in 2029. He stated as follows:
“I know who, by God’s grace, will be Ghana’s next president, but time is a factor, and I believe in God, so I will publicly announce it when the time is due.”
