“Filmmaker Dela Finn tackles Drug Abuse Awareness through RED PILLS Short Film”

Drug abuse is steadily rising among both ghetto youth and the wealthy, posing a serious threat to the mental health and future of today’s generation. As this crisis deepens, critical questions arise: What is society doing to address it, and how can awareness lead to change?
International award-winning director and founder of Deland Films, Dela Finn, has unveiled the official promotional flyer for his upcoming short film, RED PILLS. Renowned for using film as a medium to spotlight pressing societal issues, Dela Finn once again turns his focus to a subject many shy away from—drug abuse and its far-reaching psychological impact.

RED PILLS is a thought-provoking short film that explores the realities of substance abuse and the mental health struggles that often follow. Through powerful storytelling and compelling performances, the film aims to spark conversations, raise awareness, and encourage collective responsibility toward addressing this growing problem.

The film features a diverse cast of talented actors, including Jessica Kassah, Gertrude Bubune, Constancia Adorvlo, Efo Kodjo, Leo Lyrix’s, Joy Danku, Arnold Wailer, Yaa Flora, and Keeny Ice, all contributing to the emotional depth of the story.
Written and directed by Dela Finn, the project is produced by Kwamivi Ashiaby and executive produced by Edward Sabah, with Deland Films collaborating with Synna Media and Cloud9 Gangs on the production.
RED PILLS is scheduled for release later this year. The production team calls on the media, partners, and the public to support and amplify this important film as it seeks to shed light on one of society’s most urgent challenges.
