I need to hear it from him – Sarkodie reacts to Stonebwoy’s viral tweet

Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie has declined to conclude that a recent viral tweet by Stonebwoy was directed at him and fellow artiste Shatta Wale.
The speculation began after Stonebwoy posted a message on social media that read: “These 2 guys have been faking to each other based on interests and timing. Convenient friendship. Even the devil hates that.”
The post surfaced shortly after Sarkodie and Shatta Wale shared the stage at Kwaku Smoke’s concert in London, prompting many fans to believe the message was aimed at the two musicians.
However, speaking on the Afrobeats Podcast, Sarkodie said he was unwilling to make that assumption without direct confirmation from Stonebwoy.
“Let me be honest. I would like to hear it come from him and say, ‘It is you and Shatta Wale I’m talking about,’” he said.
According to the rapper, social media users often interpret posts based on current events and trending conversations, even when there is no clear evidence connecting them.
“If he puts out the tweet, maybe because of the timing and what we did, people are going to take it that way,” Sarkodie explained.
“No matter what you’re talking about, people are going to grab it and make their own conclusions.”
His comments have added a new dimension to the ongoing discussion surrounding Stonebwoy’s tweet and the renewed public interaction between Sarkodie and Shatta Wale.
Sarkodie added that he has not had any direct conversation with Stonebwoy about the tweet.
“I haven’t had any conversation with him to really know exactly what he was talking about. I don’t want to delve into it,” he said
